A purpose built retreat centre, Pureland's Retreat Centre is part of Samye-Ling Monastery in Langholm, amongst the rolling hills of South Western Scotland. Open to workshop leaders and therapy, healing and meditation groups, Samye Ling is a monastery and international centre of Buddhist training, known for the authenticity of its teachings and tradition. It offers instruction in Buddhist philosophy and meditation within the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. It is also a centre for the preservation of Tibetan religion, culture, medicine, art, architecture and handicrafts.
The centre also has a meditation, shrine room and a workshop, yoga room, both measuring 2Oft x 4Oft and fully carpeted. You will relish peace and calm of Purelands, walking in the surrounding valleys and forests and by fascinated by the Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery complex, including its beautifully ornate temple, where guests are welcome to attend any of the prayer services or meditation sessions.
