The hotel is situated on the route of the Cambrian Way Long Distance Footpath and at the foot of the slopes of Plynlimon. It lies within easy reach of the picturesque Elan Valley - Known as the "Lakeland of Wales", whilst to the west is the Ceredigion Heritage Coast, boasting magnificent coastal scenery, beaches, birdlife seals and dolphins. The old University town of Aberystwyth is just 12 miles away, offering a range of cultural attraction and entertainment.

Modern facilities have been tastefully combined with the Hotel's traditional character to offer both comfort and atmosphere. The bedrooms (mostly en suite) include tea/coffee facilities, colour TV, central heating and direct dial telephones. Families are welcome, with reduced rates for children. The cosy bar offers a warm and homely welcome.

We pride ourselves on our reputation good, traditional home-cooked food whether your preference is for a snack or full meal, complemented with fine wine from out cellars. Our menu is extensive and special dietary requirements can be catered for.

We offer facilities for weddings, private functions and coach parties (prior notice appreciated). There is ample parking space.

Mervyn and Anne, along with their family Paul, Mark, lan and Sarah are your hosts. Anne and the family speak fluent Welsh and can help you with translation or pronouncement of any Welsh word you may not he able to get your tongue around.
